BIOGRAPHY

Jacques Atomique was born from St Exupéry ashes (3 démos and a couple of titles on various tape compilations) on may 1997. The primary duet very fast became a pure rock'n'roll band composed as follows. First is Marc who sings, sometimes writes while listening to Swell or reading any James Ellroy novels but always smoking "New Lights" cigarettes. Then is Raphael who plays guitar. Completely found of bubble pop songs, he really enjoys listening to lindeum in his two floors flat while having a very insterested look at some porno movies. David, the bassist has stopped growing up in the early eighties. He's now completely obsessed by Joy Division and smart clothes!!! Marco the drummer gets bold and always drink as no one else does...dued to his experiences in many bands. And at last but he is not the least : Joseph. Call him "Holy Joseph" because he is the father of the band, the great leader who writes songs and plays guitar on stage. From time to time he becomes "Centre du Monde" and plays some guitar in "Porridge". A couple of gigs in small pubs and festivals hasn't taught them a lot and they still trust in the idea that they hardly need to drink if they want to play well... The first 7' vinyl single was released by the britain label "Les Tartines" on October 1997, and the second one was released too on the "Tartines" on january 1999. Their collaboration to the acetone single club is just one more sign to their so promised brilliant future.
